1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SwiftAuth ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SwiftAuth provides authentication, licensing, and user management APIs for software developers. The Service includes a web dashboard, REST API, WebSocket API, and related tools.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and API keys
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Distribute malware, ransomware, or other harmful software
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
- Circumvent rate limits or abuse API endpoints
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure
5. API Usage & Rate Limits
API usage is subject to rate limits as documented. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent restrictions. Each plan tier has defined resource limits; exceeding them may require upgrading your plan.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all data and content you transmit through the Service. SwiftAuth retains ownership of the Service, its branding, and all associated intellectual property. You may not use SwiftAuth trademarks without prior written permission.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Upon termination, all associated data will be permanently deleted.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SwiftAuth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
